It’s time for this year’s Dugard trip to our sister company MTI in Poland for their AGM and, what a stroke of luck, the trip just so happens to coincide with Bob and Margaret Dugard’s 45th wedding anniversary. 

MACH is the biggest machine tools exhibition in the UK and if you’ve been there, well, ever, you’ll have seen a big and very busy Dugard stand. 

What a palaver at FIVE in Farnborough yesterday for the Southern Manufacturing 2016 build up – Storm Imogen caused quite a hefty delay!  The exhibition space at Farnborough is sort of like a semi-permanent marquee and Imogen was rattling around like no one’s business.

Yet again, SteelFab was an incredibly beneficial show for us, generating plenty of really strong enquiries.

The brand new Dugard SS1263 high speed VMCs are a smaller, faster version of our tremendously successful Dugard HD VMCs.  They’ve still got the unique bedway design with the X axis sitting underneath the Y axis, giving you much more space for the machine, guarding and the travels. 

We’re always keen to hear what our customers have to say about how Dugard machines work for them in production, often we can take these suggestions and build them into our ranges.
