Dugard open house – it’s over for another two years

What a busy few days we’ve had at our head office in Hove – people have been pouring through the doors but now they’re all gone and everything’s been packed away it’s kind of lonely here!

The new machines were all very well received – we sold two Dugard 65 Twin Turret SY machines this week and we’ve got healthy orders for the E machines we’ve got arriving over the next couple of months. There was a cutting demo by Sandvik (using their tooling) on the 760E which is always good at a show because engineers love a bit of noise! We had representatives from Nikken showing off the Nikken table on the new Dugard X5 as well as LNS Turbo and Hydrafeed keen to tell all the visitors about their barfeeds.

The curry was amazing – Indian Summer will definitely be asked back for our next open house. They brought everything with them, cooked it all on site and served it to everyone, expertly aided by lovely Karen from our office who poured all the drinks. Danni (you may have met her at EMO) did a splendid job greeting everyone on arrival, our apps team were on hand, so were the guys from spares and our workshop boys did a fantastic job of keeping everything in order. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome, Anna worked really hard organising everyone, planning layouts etc and the good news is she’s coming to MACH with us next year which will undoubtedly make the whole thing much easier!
