What’s in store at Dugard for 2015?

SteelFab 2015

26 – 29 January, Expo Centre, Sharjah, UAE

SteelFab is always a brilliant show for us at Dugard so of course we’re very excited to be attending again this year.  It’s the biggest show in the region, taking advantage of a growing economy in the area, and that growing economy is reflected by our rapidly expanding customer base.  We’re on stand 1540 and we’ll be exhibiting 3 machines: Samsung PL45MC with Fanuc 0iTD control: Dugard Union Heavy Duty hollow spindle lathe with Fanuc 0iTD: Dugard 1000E with Fanuc 0iTD.  It’s also a brilliant opportunity to introduce the newest member of our sales team, Matthew Varghese, who joined Paul Rushworth in our Dubai office in December.

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics

10 – 12 February, FIVE, Farnborough

Southern Manufacturing consistently rates as one of the best shows we attend, so this year we’ve decided to up our game!  Previously we’ve only really had an information stand but because the show works so well for us, and because we’ve got some excellent new machines, this year when you come to the show you’ll be able to see one of our new Dugard Lunan 500A VMCs in action.  We’re on stand M14 at the show this year, right by the entrance so make sure you pop in, Paul Wallace and Andy Yeomans will both be at the show to tell you everything you need to know, and of course Karen Berry-Hill will be in charge of everything for us at Farnborough.

North East Manufacturing & Engineering

8 – 9 July, Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle

2015 is the first year for North East Manufacturing & Engineering and we’re really excited about the chance to attend the show.  Showcasing the North East’s strengths, the show proves it’s an exciting region with plenty of innovative businesses producing some really impressive products, so it was vital that we go and find out how we can help our customers there grow their profits even more.  It’s another perfect opportunity to show off our new Dugard Lunan range so we’ll be taking the Dugard Lunan 500A VMC with us there as well.

Dugard Used Machines

Thanks to the immensely successful sales of our Dugard Lunan range, you can now get a brand new machine cheaper than a used one.  Because of this we’ve had to take a sharp look at our used machine policy and the good news for all our used machine customers is that it’s time for a January sale, with the price of each used machine substantially lowered to keep them competitive.  If you’re one of our used machine customers we’ll be emailing you price cuts on individual featured machines from 12th January (right through to the end of the month) and the reduction to the rest of the used machines will be applied throughout February. Dugard Lunan Range

Described as a “revolution in the machine tool industry”, the Dugard Lunan range of VMCs, CNC lathes and multi-function lathes proved inordinately popular when they were launched at MACH 2014.  The range limits the options available, which in turn keeps the build cost low, resulting in a fantastically low cost to the customer.  They’ve been so successful since their launch that the range is now expanding, we’ve got some very special plans for the Dugard Lunan range so stay tuned.

Dugard Union Range

Launching in 2015, a brand new range of heavy duty, high precision CNC lathes with.  With a range of flat bed machines and a range of slant bed machines, they’ve been very well received by our customers.  Boasting large spindle bores up to 460mm, rigid headstocks, robust tailstocks with up to 7MT quills as well as wide carriage capacity options, these machines are perfect for the oil & gas industry.

Dugard LB models

An expansion of our immensely popular Dugard HD range, the LB machines are a ground breaking set of double column machining centres with impressive heavy duty capacity at an extremely competitive price.  Powerful cutting performance is achieved by each machine’s massive structure with a powerfully geared head (perfect for heavy duty and high efficiency cutting), spindle overhang has been reduced, increasing rigidity and reducing vibration, resulting in improved surface finish, cutting performance and accuracy.  Each machine has the ability to handle hard materials and heavy duty cutting, proving the sheer power of the range.
